New headstones and memorials

We supply and install new memorials in a range of natural stones, colours, shapes and finishes. A memorial can be traditional and restrained, or it can include details that make it unmistakably personal.

We will help you consider the shape of the stone, the size and layout of the inscription, the lettering style, flower containers, ornament and any image or design. The burial ground’s rules are checked before the memorial is prepared.

Additional inscriptions

When another name or message needs to be added to an existing memorial, we can assess the available space and match the original lettering as closely as possible. Depending on the memorial and the burial ground, the stone may be removed so the work can be completed safely and accurately.

Additional inscription work can often be combined with cleaning, re-gilding or other renovation.

Memorial cleaning and renovation

Weather, age and environmental staining can make a memorial difficult to read and leave it looking neglected. Renovation may include careful cleaning, re-cutting or repainting lettering, re-gilding and replacement of worn components where appropriate.

The aim is not to make an old memorial look artificially new. It is to restore its dignity and make the inscription clear again.

Bespoke artwork and personal designs

Glenn creates detailed artwork on stone, including flowers, animals, vehicles, landscapes, religious imagery and designs based on a person’s interests or life. Work can be monochrome or include carefully applied colour.

Some burial grounds place restrictions on photographs, colour and non-traditional imagery. We will check what is permitted before the design is finalised.

Pet memorials, plaques and granite art

We also make pet memorials, house plaques and decorative granite artwork. These pieces can include names, dates, portraits or a design created from a photograph.

Pricing and cemetery fees

Every memorial is different, and prices depend on the stone, size, finish, inscription, artwork, installation and any burial authority fee. Rather than publish a misleading headline price, we provide a quotation based on the work actually required.
